Former Attorney General and President of the Commission on Disappearances and Deaths, Husnu Suood, has said that the entire Supreme Court panel has lost the public trust and has to be dismissed.

Talking to Raajje TV’s “Falasurukhee” program last night, Suood said that after their verdict on 1st February last year and changing it later on 5th February, the faith in the judges have been significantly reduced.

He said that he believes all the judges of the Supreme Court has to be dismissed and their capability for their position has to be called into question.

Suood said that it should be done through due process and the regulations of the Judicial Service Commission with the opportunity for the judges to respond.

The former Attorney General said that the government needs a roadmap for judicial reform from magistrate courts to tribunals along with the High Court and the Supreme Court.

Suood said that there are very capable judges in the system along with those that are corrupt and under the influence of others.
