Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has donated MVR50,000 to the Mosque Fund.

Ministry of Islamic Affairs said that WAMCO made the donation to their Mosque Fund, formed under their “Dharuma” program, was made yesterday.

The two-day program by the Ministry opened the opportunity to the public to make donations and help the mosques.

Islamic Ministry said that the program also serves to rejuvenate the funds under their care. The Ministry said that by 6 p.m. last night, MVR 709,458.54 were donated to the Mosque Fund and MVR 126,534.59 was donated to the Religion Fund.

The Ministry said that they also received USD 668.29 and USD 276.77 to the Mosque Fund and Religion Fund respectively.
