Social Media networks blocked in Sri Lanka for 3 days

Sri Lankan authorities have blocked Social Media networks in the country for the next three days.

EconomyNext reported that Sri Lanka has blocked social media platforms including WhatsApp and Viber after the explosions in the country in an effort to prevent the spread of false information.

The country has previously blocked off social media to prevent the spread of false information.

While 8 separate explosions have gone off in Sri Lanka since this morning, no groups have claimed responsibility for the attacks.
