Following the attacks on the neighboring Sri Lanka, the two telecommunication companies in the Maldives, Dhiraagu and Ooredoo Maldives has reduced their price for calls to Sri Lanka.
Dhiraagu announced that they are reducing the call rate to Sri Lanka to MVR 1/min until 12 a.m. to help their customers get in touch with loved ones.

Telecom giant, Ooredoo Maldives too have dropped their price to MVR per minute and sent their condolences to those affected.
