World Travel Awards: Maldives win 23 awards in the Indian Ocean Category

Maldives has won 23 awards in the Indian Ocean Category at the 30th World Travel Awards.

Maldives has won the most awards in the Indian Ocean categories at the annual awards. Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) won the Leading Seaplane Operator award while Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) won the Leading Tourist Board award.

This is the 12th year that Maldives has won the award for the Leading Dive Destination in the Indian Ocean Region. It has also won the Leading Beach Destination award for the 11th time.

This is also the 16th time Maldives has won the Leading Destination Award in the region.
