Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has organised a blood donation camp.

The blood donation camp was jointly organised by MACL and Maldives Blood Service.

MACL said the aim of the camp was to make the staff aware of the importance of blood donation and blood donation to thalassaemia children.

The camp was inaugurated by Ibrahim Thoha, Deputy Managing Director of MACL. Speaking on the occasion, Thoha highlighted the importance of donating blood and the benefits that can be available to blood donors as well, adding that donating blood to thalassaemia children is valuable.

The camp was organised under the welfare of MACL.
