Maldives National University (MNU) has granted scholarships to 24 students.

During an event held at MNU on Thursday, selected students were handed their letter of selection. The scholarships are for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and includes free slots and tuition fee sponsored slots.

Vice Chancellor of MNU, Dr. Fawaz Sharif had handed over the document to undergraduate students. 20 students will be receiving free tuition fees for undergraduate studies.

Full scholarships were awarded to four students studying postgraduate programs by Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Aishath Shafeena.

While 117 students had applied for scholarships, only those who had shown remarkable results before were awarded the scholarships.
