Maldives has recorded 1.5 million tourist arrivals so far this year.

According to a report released by the Ministry of Tourism, a total of 144,318 tourists have arrived in the Maldives so far this month, bringing the total number of tourist arrivals to 1,505,366 so far this year.

Russia leads the market with 172,472 arrivals this year.

According to the report, the number of tourists from India has increased, with 163,513 arrivals from India so far this month.

Tourism Ministry hopes for 1.9 millions tourist arrivals by the end of the year.
