Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Maldives President-elect Mohamed Muizzu has discussed the latest developments in Palestine over a phone call.

Turkish media reports that President Erdogan had assured that Ankara is doing its best to ensure peace and to provide humanitarian aid to the region.

It was further reported that President Erdogan had urged for a ceasefire during the phone call.

Over 4,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed in Israeli airstrikes so far.
