President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. has stated that two additional elevators will be installed in each Hiyaa tower, one of which will have the capacity to transfer patients on stretchers.

Speaking with supporters at Hulhumale' Phase II, Dr. Muizzu reiterated his pledges for Hulhumale' Phase II will be fulfilled during his term.

The Government has included MVR 200 million in next year's budget on Dr. Muizzu's request.

"We requested additional MVR 200 million to be included in the budget. It is to facilitate the installation of additional elevators in Hiyaa towers. Each tower will get two additional elevators, one with the capacity to carry patients on stretchers and other with the capacity for 14 people," Dr. Muizzu said.

Dr. Muizzu cut his visit short owing to the bad weather, but spent time with his supporters before ending his visit.

Dr. Muizzu was accompanied by Vice President-elect Mohamed Latheef (Sembe).
