Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) 2023 coaching partner, Elite Runners Maldives, will be hosting a special running clinic.

The event, which is open to all registered participants in this year's Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race, will be held from 1630 - 1745hrs on Saturday at Male' running track.

Dhiraagu said that the clinic will provide participants with instructions to help them prepare for the next run, and those willing to participate can register through https://bit.ly/3M8ThBT.

There will also be a special segment of Tree Top Hospital, the medical partner of DMRR 2023, where Dr. Ibrahim Iyaz of the hospital will give the participants various tips on running and health.

Dhiraagu has also decided to hold a running clinic for children on Sunday along with the fastest sprinter in Maldives, Hassan Saaid's sports academy, Saaid Sports from 1630 - 1740hrs on Sunday for school children under-13 and above-13 who are partaking in the 5 km category at DMRR.

This year's road race will be held at Hulhumale' Central Park on Friday, October 27, making it the largest running event in the Maldives.

With more than 4,000 participants, this year's road race will allow runners to run for the half marathon for the first time and will have five-km and ten-km races like any other year.

The Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race is the first and only international race to be held in the Maldives and is listed on the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIIMS) World Running Calendar along with a World Athletics Certified Race Route.
