Ooredoo Maldives has inaugurated the largest Gaming Festival held in the Maldives.

The company stated on Friday that over 350 participants have registered for the festival. The festival includes Ooredoo Nation PubG Mobile Grand Finale, cosplay, FC24, Racing Sim and a Tekken competition.

The Gaming Festival was inaugurated by Maldives Olympic Committee's Secretary General Thamooh Ahmed Saeed, alongside Ooredoo's Chief Technology Officer Bassam Al Momani and Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz.

The festival "Ooredoo Nation - Gamers Land' which is taking place over the weekend is the biggest such festival with cash prizes amounting to MVR 185,000.

The PubG Mobile Grand Finale winners will receive a cash prize of MVR 89,000. FIFA EAFC winner gets MVR 40,000 and Racing Sim winners will take away a prize of MVR 25,000.

The Tekken tournament and cosplay competition winners will receive MVR 10,000 each.

Festival goers can also experience VR games and use the claw machine at the festival.
