A Chinese woman has been arrested for causing commotion inside the Velana International Airport (VIA).

Police said the woman was arrested for making loud noises and spitting.

It is learned that the woman was a tourist who did not leave due to visa issues. She was unable to leave and had been in the VIA for some time.
