The aim is to complete the work of the transitional committees by tomorrow, Director of Transition Abdul Raheem Abdullah said yesterday.

President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has formed 15 committees to oversee the transition of power. The committees began their work earlier this month.

In an interview with Sangu TV, Abdul Raheem said some government offices and agencies had fully cooperated with the transitional committees but some agencies had difficulties in obtaining information. However, he said he was satisfied with the work of the interim committees and the initial target was to complete the work of the committee on Tuesday.

“We are now aiming to complete the work by the 20th,” he said.

He added that the committees' reports are being prepared within two days and the reports will be released as soon as they are completed.
