Aminiya School has been allotted the CHSE building in Male' city and the school will be converted into a single session.

CHSE, the first school in the Maldives to start higher secondary education, has ceased to use its old building since August and is currently operating in Hulhumale' Phase I.

An official from Education Ministry told 'One' today that the old building of the CHSE has been allotted to Aminiya School, and will be renovated and the classes shifted to a single session.

However, the exact date of conversion of Aminiya School to a single session is yet to be ascertained.

Currently, the single session schools in Male' area are Muhyiddin School in Villimale', Salahuddin School in Hulhumale' Phase II, Izzuddin School in Male' and Dharumavantha School.
