The International Aid Campaign (IAC) has raised more than MVR 12 million so far to help Palestine.

IAC and the media jointly conducted a special telethon from 10:30 am to 00:00 pm yesterday. Many people have donated money to the fund through the telethon.

The IAC said it had received MVR 12.5 million and more than USD 8,300 in aid to Palestine as of yesterday. The money received from the fund boxes will be counted and the total amount will be announced, the association said.

Organizations, companies, and the public are conducting various activities to help Palestine. They are also raising money by setting up fund boxes, washing bicycles, and selling food.

A specific date for the closure of the IAC fund has not yet been decided.
