Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the B. Kamadhoo Harbor Development Project is currently underway with 78% project completion.

The jetty construction work has been completed, and the fourth shipment of rock boulders has been delivered to the project site.

Scope of works for the project includes, 30,122cbm harbor dredging operations, 5,085cbm channel dredging operations, 187m breakwater, 656m revetment, 402m quay wall, two concrete ramps, scour apron and 80mx1.5m concrete jetty, installation of 1,810sqm harbor pavement, navigational & harbor lights, and mooring rings.

The value of the project is MVR 51.4 million.
