PPM/PNC has said that the messages circulated in the name of President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu are fake.

In a statement issued last night, PPM/PNC said that fake messages are being circulated using Dr. Muizzu's mobile number in his name, and advised people not to follow them even if they receive such a message.

"We strongly condemn this uncivilised act," the statement said.

The PPM/PNC urged the police to take immediate action against the fake messages being circulated and take necessary steps to prevent them.
