Women in Management Maldives has opened applications for the annual ‘Professional and Career Woman Awards 2019.

The awards function is set to be held on July 13, and the application window will be open from April 15th till May 15th.

President of WIM Maldives, Minha Faiz Rashad said that the award was given to hard working women to recognise their contributions to the country and to encourage their future endeavours.

This marks the second year WIM is holding this award.

Past year’s Professional and Career Woman awards saw 25 women receiving the award in several categories. Out of these, six women were nominated for, and won the award for Top 50 Professional and Career Women Award 2018.

Women in Management is an international organization working for the empowerment of women. Their Maldivian chapter was launched in 2017, and since then they have held various activities for their cause.
