President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Mohamed Firuzul Abdullah Haleel as the transitional spokesperson.

Born in Dhaalu Kudahuvadhoo, Firuzul studied at Azhar University in Egypt. He was most recently with the Deputy Director General of the Ilm Institute of Mohammed Shaheem Ali Saeed.

While Mohamed Firuzul has been appointed as the transitional spokesperson, PNC Chairman Abdul Raheem Abdullah has been appointed as the Director General of Transition as per the Transition Process Act.
