Judge Farhad Rasheed to oversee Civil Court ops in the interim

The administration of the Civil Court has been temporarily handed over to Judge Farhad Rasheed.

The court was handed over to Judge Farhad following the sudden death of its Chief Judge Ahmed Nimal Junaid.

One Online has learned that Nimal died of a heart attack, while being treated at the IGMH at around 1:00 pm yesterday. Nimal was 36 years old when he died.

Nimal was appointed as the Chief Judge of the Civil Court on May 9 this year.
