Three members of the Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) have been removed from their posts after their term ended.
PCB president Asim Mohamed, board membesr Ali Shafiu and Rushaha Ahmed Shareef have been removed from their posts.
Asim was appointed to the PCB board on September 17, 2019 and was appointed as the board president on December 13, 2021.
Shafiu and Rushaha were appointed members of the PCB board on September 17, 2019.
In a statement, the PCB said vice-president Mohammad Firash will be in charge of the board until a person is appointed as the president of the board.
"We appreciate the contribution made during their tenure in improving the functioning of state-owned and state-owned companies," the PCB said in a statement.
