The candidates contesting tomorrow's elections have concluded their campaign.

This year's presidential elections include eight candidates— PNC candidate Dr Mohamed Muiz, MDP candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, Jumhooree Party candidate Qasim Ibrahim, MNP candidate Mohamed Nazim and The Democrats candidate Ilyas Labeeb are contesting the elections on party tickets.

Former Home Minister Omar Naseer, former Dhiggaru MP Faris Maumoon and former Deputy Minister of Defence Hassan Jameel are contesting as independent candidates.

Dr. Muiz ended his campaign with a rally that ended at artificial beach. During the rally, the PPM/PNC leader called for the release of former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and an end to his torture. The party members said Dr. Muiz will win the election in one round.

Speaking to supporters at Usfasgandu in Male' City, President Solih said that the election has been completed and he will win the election.

After clicking a selfie with his supporters who had gathered at the venue, he said opposition candidates cannot secure votes compared to the number of selfies he took during the campaign.

Speaking to supporters to end Qasim's campaign, he said that MDP and PPM had failed and an honest man should be brought to power. He said JP would develop a German-level military hospital and that Fushidhiggaru would be reclaimed and developed as a city.

Ilyas Labeeb's campaign was held at Rasfannu, while Nazim's campaign was concluded at Hulhumale' Central Park. A coffee meeting was held at the Seahouse this afternoon to conclude Faris' campaign, followed by a procession.

A total of 574 polling booths will be set up and 2,82,395 people are eligible to cast their votes. The starting time is 8 am tomorrow. The queue of voters will close at 4:00 p.m.
