Maldives transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed agreements with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure for 4 major projects.

The agreements were signed on behalf of MTCC by CEO Adam Azim and DG of Planning Ministry. Fathimath Shaana Farooq.

Scope of works for HA. Thakandhoo Harbour Development Project include 15,565 cbm harbour basin and channel dredging operations, 58m revetment, 161m breakwater, 98m sand-filled breakwater outer revetment, 244m quay wall, 17m × 7m ramp, 11m × 3m bridge, 2463 sqm harbor pavement and harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 46.59 million.

Scope of work for AA. Rasdhoo Madivaru Finolhu Beach Nourishment and Shore Protection Project include 2.60 hectares beach nourishment operations and 415m geobag revetment.

The project is valued at MVR 27.61 million.

HA. Maarandhoo Harbor Development Project includes 9248 cbm maintenance dredging operations, 45,000 cbm new harbour basin dredging operations, 1657 cbm channel dredging operations, 60m revetment, 150m breakwater, 17m groyne, 215m quay wall, 194m existing quay wall repair, 11m × 11m ramp, 70m × 2m jetty, 2291 sqm pavement, navigational and harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 43.98 million.

GA. Gemanafushi Harbor Development Project includes 37,516 cbm maintenance dredging operations, 65,330 cbm new harbour basin dredging operations, 201m geobag revetment, 11m breakwater, 221m sand-filled breakwater outer revetment, 210 sand-filled breakwater inner revetment, 405m quay wall, 2635 sqm pavement, 18m × 2m bridge, navigational and harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 70.16 million.
