College and university students will be able to travel free of cost in RTL buses and ferries, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said.

In a press release issued on Thursday evening, MTCC said that the company will provide free travel to college and university students in the bus service in greater Male' region and atolls.

Students will be able to travel free of cost in buses from Friday onwards using the student card issued to them by college/university.

MTCC buses already offer free rides to school students in uniform and activity uniforms, children below three years of age, those above 65 years of age and those with special needs.
