Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said they have commenced physical works of N. Kudafari Shore Protection Project on 24th Aug 2023.

MTCC said the swimming area dredging operations are currently ongoing.

Scope of works include, 610m geobag revetment, and a 220m groyne. MTCC was contracted with the project on 8 February 2022.

The project is valued at MVR 17.84 million.
