Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that Ha. Hoarafushi Road Development Project is well underway, with overall 91% project progress.

They noted that they have completed asphalt laying works. Streetlight installation is ongoing, with 70% project progress.

Scope of works include, 32,821sqm carriageway, 11,736sqm paving works, 16,950m curbstone installation; an electrical junctions box, installation of road sign boards and streetlights, road markings, 2,568sqm harbor pavement, Bandharu Magu variation works.

The value of the project is MVR 73.83 million.
