Former MP of Makunudhoo constituency Anara Naeem and former Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has decided to endorse and support PPM/PNC Candidate, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu at the upcoming Presidential Election.

Shaheem, who is also an advisor to the party, tweeted that he would reveal the reason behind his decision to support Muizzu at a later date.

"In the 2023 elections, I have decided to support my friend, Dr. Mohammad Muizzu. Will reveal the details later," Shaheem said.

Anara, who was earlier with the Adhaalath Party, tweeted on Monday that women would get equal opportunities under Muizzu's rule. Anara said a strong foreign policy would be established and Islamic principles would be taken into account during Muizzu's tenure.

Dr. Shaheem was Yameen's running mate when he ran for the presidency in 2018.
