Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been contracted with R. Hulhudhuffaaru Shore Protection Project by Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

The agreement was signed on behalf of MTCC by COO, Shahid Hussain Moosa and DG of Planning Ministry, Fathimath Shaana Farooq.

Scope of work for the project include a 473m groyne, 320m revetment, 100m low crested breakwater, and 20,500 cbm beach nourishment operations.

The project is valued at MVR 32.33 million.
