Temporary list of land plot recipients in Addu atoll has been publicised.

Addu City Council has published the list on the Council's website and the Gazette as well.

The Council stated that out of the 4,160 applicants, 3,972 are eligible for land plots and will receive land.

Complaints can be submitted on the list starting from Sunday until 1200hrs on 27 August 2023, the Council said.

Addu City Council said they are working on authenticating the details in the application forms ahead of publishing the final list.

The initial announcement for land plots in Addu City were for 1,000 plots - 500 from Hithadhoo, 300 from Feydhoo, and 100 each from Hulhudhoo and Meedhoo.

MTCC is currently carrying out land reclamation works for the project.
