Maldives Meteorology has predicted that tidal swells might occur in Male' Area and across the country today.

The MET office noted that wave heights between Haa Alif Atoll and Baa Atoll are expected to be between 2.5 ft and 2.6 ft. They added that wave hights between Kaafu Atoll and Laamu Atoll are expected to be between 1.6 ft and 2.5 ft.

In addition to this, they noted that wave heights between Gaafu Alif Atoll and Addu City is expected to be between 2.2 ft and 3ft.

Even though tidal swells are expected, the weather is predicted to be good across the country.

Winds of 15mph are expected according to the MET.
