Elections Commission of the Maldives has decided to recount all void ballots from three ballot boxes which were placed in Maamigilli.
The commission has decided to recount only votes which have been marked as void.
Speaking to ‘One Online’, EC Member and Spokesperson, Ahmed Akram noted that there was a high count of void votes in the Maamigilli boxes.
“Void votes in these three boxes are unusually high. These votes might make a difference in the final result for the constituency,” Akram said.
