The biggest futsal tournament in the Maldives, Club Maldives Cup 2019 is set to kick off tonight.

The opening ceremony of the tournament is set to be held tonight at 8:30pm at the futsal arena in Hulhumale. However matches will begin tomorrow night at 8:15pm.

Four matches are scheduled for Wednesday night. These include two men’s matches and two women’s matches. Playing teams include defending champions Greater Male Industrial Zone Limited against STELCO and “Thaulemee Gulhun” against Dhivehi Sifainge Club.

32 teams are competing in the men’s section while 08 women’s team will participate in the 18/30 Futsal Fiesta. Matches will first proceed in the group stages.
