President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the water and sewerage networks in N. Kudafari, Henbadhoo, and Maalhendhoo.

President Solih inaugurated the water and sewerage networks in the island during his campaign rallies. The ceremonies were attended by MWSC's Managing Director Hassan Shah, cabinet ministers, STELCO and Fenaka Corporation management and staff alongside residents from the respective islands.

As part of the project, water networks have been set up and connected to the households in the islands. Additionally, water plants have been established in the islands to produce water, and boreholes have been drilled and reject lines have been installed. Water tanks have also been installed to store water.

As part of the sewerage network project, the sewerage main work and pumping line, the sewerage administrative building, the pumping station and the sea outfall have been completed. TSewerage junctions have been installed in households and the sewerage connection has been connected. A generator set, vehicle and water analysis equipment have been provided for the operation and maintenance of the sewerage system.

MWSC was contracted the project for MVR 122 million by Housing Ministry.
