Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said HDh. Kumundhoo Harbour Channel Project is well underway, with overall 70% project progress.

MTCC said the fourth shipment of rock boulders required for the project work have been delivered to the site.

Scope of work for the project includes 9,347cbm new harbour basin dredging operations, 4,955cbm entrance channel dredging operations, 242m breakwater, 198m revetment, and installation of navigational lights.

The project is valued at MVR 33.6 million.
