Ethan Ibrahim Zaki, hailed as the most skilful young footballer in Maldives, has been signed by Spanish second division club EF Huesca.

The 14-year-old, who appeared for Valencia this season, has joined Huesca's Under-16 side on a one-year deal. This is the first time a Maldivian player has been signed for a top Spanish team. Spain's second division teams operate within the best system of European club football and showcase great quality and skill. With this opportunity, Ethan has a great chance to get on the radar of a big club.

Ethan, who has also played well at inter-school tournaments, has also played well at Valencia so far this season. Valencia entered the football season in a difficult situation but players like Ethan have played well at the club. Ethan became the youngest player to score in the first division of Maldives after scoring against United Victory in the league last week.

Ethan has always worked for football opportunities, with the help of his family, and played in the Pyrenees Cup in Spain during the school holidays.
