Opposition candidate Mohamed Muizzu who is contesting the September 9 polls has kicked off his campaign with running mate Hussain Mohamed Latheef (Sembe).

Muizzu, along with the coalition leadership, began the campaign from the North today. As such. he will be on a three-day visit where he will be visiting 11 islands in Haa Alif and Haa Dhaalu Atoll.

Hanimaadhoo will be the first stop on his tour. Followed by Nolhivaram and Kulhudhuffushi later today. He will also be holding a campaign event in Kulhudhuffushi tonight.

Muizzu had also launched a door-to-door campaign in Male' City, starting from the Hiyaa Flats.
