The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has set up a portal to deal with election bribery cases in the run-up to the presidential elections.
The Commission had yesterday said that through this portal, anyone can file a complaint against anyone if they commit an offense of electoral bribery mentioned in Sections 74(A) 11 and 12 of the General Elections Act.
The portal also includes a small booklet prepared by the ACC containing information on what constitutes an election bribe and how to be careful about it.
The agency said that while the portal has been arranged to keep the information of the complainant confidential, updates could only be provided to non-anonymous complainants.
The commission will provide protection to whistleblowers, it said.
The portal can be accessed via https://elections.acc.gov.mv/[null](https://elections.acc.gov.mv/)
