President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that he will work to expand education tourism in the Maldives if elected for a second term.
Speaking at a meeting held in GDh. Vadhoo as part of his campaign, the President said that while formulating the land use plan, the extent of human development will be taken into account. This will train people and boost the job market, he said.
The President said efforts would be made to make the Maldives a prosperous country for education tourism.
"When land use plans are made in all the islands of the country, a human resource plan will also be developed and programs will be expanded in accordance with that human resource plan and higher education and training opportunities will be provided in the country and abroad," he said.
He said that while voting in the elections, one should think of selecting a person who can deliver on the promise and only the ruling coalition is contesting the elections for the sake of serving the people.
