Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said AA. Ukulhas Harbour Development Project is currently underway with overall 72% project completion.

MTCC said the jetty beam and slab shuttering, reinforcement and casting work is currently ongoing at the site.

Scope of work for the project include harbour dredging operations of 4,954cbm, construction of a 5m breakwater, a 484m revetment, a 264m quay wall, a connectivity bridge, a concrete jetty and an apron, installation of 1,598sqm harbour pavement and installation of harbour lights.
