Former president Abdulla Yameen has asked opposition PPM/PNC senate to review their decision not to boycott the presidential elections upon his request.
Yameen informed the opposition he does not accept their decision not to boycott the elections, on Sunday night.
Requesting anonymity, one of the opposition leaders told 'One' on Sunday night that Yameen has requested the opposition to review their decision, but the latter is undecided on the matter.
Yameen asked the opposition to boycott the elections following Supreme Court's decision to uphold EC's decision to not accept Yameen's candidacy.
The opposition's senate debated on the request, with 67 members voting not to boycott the elections while 46 members voted in favour of boycotting it.
