Dr. Ahmed Adeel Naseer has been appointed as the running mate of Mohamed Nazim, President of Maldives National Party (MNP).

The announcement of Dr. Ahmed Adeel Naseer's appointment as Nazim's running mate will be made at a special function to be held at Billabong School this evening.

Dr. Ahmed Adeel Naseer contested as an independent candidate from Hithadhoo South constituency in the 2019 parliamentary elections.

In addition to being a former principal of Addu Muhibbuddin School, Adeel has also served as principal of Sharafuddin School, Addu Islamiya School and S. Atoll Education Center.
