Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed an agreement with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure - Maldives towards implementation of additional works on Lh.Hinnavaru Harbour Development Project.

The agreement was signed by MTCC's CEO Adam Azim and Fathimath Shaana Farooq, DG, of Planning Ministry. The ceremony was attended by MP Jeehan Mahmood.

Scope of work for the project includes a 244m breakwater, 52m reprofiling of existing breakwater, a concrete jetty (270m x 2m).

The project is valued at MVR 24.32 million, to be completed within 270 days.
