Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed an agreement with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure - Maldives towards implementation of N. Maafaru and F. Bilehdhoo Land Reclamation Project.

The agreements were signed by MTCC's CEO Adam Azim Fathimath Shaana Farooq, DG, of Planning Ministry. MP Ahmed Haroon and (Dhonbiley) Ahmed attended the ceremony.

Scope of work for the Maafaru project include a sand search survey and 20.40 hectares reclamation operations. The project is valued at MVR 84.68 million, to be completed within 300 days.

Scope of work for the Bilehdhoo project include a sand search survey, 10 hectares reclamation operations, 589m revetment and 470m groyne. The project is valued at MVR 95.59 million, to be completed within 500 days.
