President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated Sh. Feevah Harbour.

President Solih inaugurated the harbour at a ceremony held during his campaign trip to the island ahead of the elections in September.

Sh. Feevah harbour was developed by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

Scope of work for the project included 40,420 cbm dredging operations, 14,743 cbm channel dredging, construction of a 474m quay wall, a 356m breakwater, 182m revetment, 27m groyne and installation of 2320sqm harbour pavement, navigation lights and streetlights.

The project is valued at MVR 67.6 million and was contracted to be completed within 390 days.
