Fuvahmulah City has geared up to welcome President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for his campaign trip ahead of the presidential elections.

Residents in Fuvahmulah City have decorated the streets with yellow and orange banners and flags. Walls have been painted yellow with the MDP logo painted over it.

Fuvahmulah City is also home to Vice President Faisal Naseem. As such, the City boasts great support for President Solih and MDP, as well as MDA.

Speaking to 'One', a resident said that the island has few Adaalat Party supporters but that a majority of the residents are looking forward to welcome the President.

President Solih will travel to Fuvahmulah City on Sunday evening and will monitor the development projects ongoing in the City. The President will also hold a campaign meeting in Fuvahmulah City tonight.

Following this trip, President Solih is set to travel to Shaviyani Atoll.
