Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said work on B. Maalhos Harbour Rectification and Shore Protection Project will begin next month.

MTCC said the project will be completed within 18 months.

Scope of work for the project include a 7,512cbm existing harbour basin dredging operations, 36,527cbm new harbour dredging operations and installation of 242m breakwater and 376m groynes.

The project is valued at MVR 69.47 Million.
