President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that changing the government system and building a good presidency is a responsibility he has been tasked by the constitution.

The President made the statement at the closing ceremony of the MDP campaigns for the parliament election.

He said that he would not hesitate to bring those changes and would do the everything that must be done for the rights of the people.

President Solih said that his government has is proving that they won't steal from the state by releasing weekly financials by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.

He said that the benefits of a transparent government are showing even in the short time he has been in office.
