President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has pledged several development projects for HDh. Nolhivaranfaru.

The President made remarks about the development of the island during a campaign trip to the atoll on Monday. As such, he noted that several works were needed to be done for the development of the island.

Under this, the President highlighted that road development projects were in the books for the island in addition to providing loan from the SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) for the development of guesthouses in the island in a bid to expand tourism in the island. The President also noted the development of the island school was also on the table.

He stressed that in order to fulfill such pledges, it was necessary to have the support of parliamentarians. As such, he urged the residents of the island to vote for the MDP candidate.

President Solih added that hardships in carrying out certain projects could be eliminated with the support of the government candidate, and hence requested everyone to vote for the MDP candidate, Ahmed Ali.
