Minister of Tourism and President of Jumhoory Party (JP), Ali Waheed, has said that JP won't be getting just six seats in the parliament election and that the party will not be seen that weak.

Ali Waheed made the statement on his visit to Dhigurah, as part of JP's parliament campaign. The statement came in response the remarks from the former President Mohamed Nasheed last night said that JP working with the former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, will not be able to secure even six seats.

He said the JP is the compass when it comes to the direction of Maldivian politics and so it is not such weak political party.
